Does anyone get soreness around their eyes, on the forehead and round the neck. Its very sore and dry, looks burnt.
Yes, mine is most evident in my periorbital sockets (the skin obove my eye lids) and across my upper chest, spreading onto my neck. I've had it for years and it seems photo reactive.
My consultants seem reluctant to comment on whether it's due to lupus, but I've read the books I got from lupus uk and feel encouraged to believe this probably is part of my version of lupus
The periorbital rash has responded v well to treatment for meibomian gland dysfunction, ie warm eye pad session daily with massage of glands after, but the rash never totally disappears....it just doesn't flare up (always used to, with edema). On my chest/throat the rash gets worse with sun exposure
How do you mange yours?
I manage mine with a small amount of steroid cream or, if it's not too painful, a product called Calmurid which moisturizers and calms. I then cover my neck and chest and put a bit of make up on my face. Thank you for your kind reply.
Has anyone had problems with the hydroxochloroquine and severe side effects and find steroids instead work better on their lupus symptoms. 
does anyone suffer from memory loss? i find that i go to the shops and forget what i went for even though its only 5 mins dwn the road
