So I have been having really sore and itchy feet lately. I have a feeling it has to do with the cold weather recently they get red and almost rash like and just painful. It is more of a nuisance really than anything else I just wondered if others have had this problem and if anything worked to help? (especially the itching!!)

Sounds like you may have vasculitis, which I also suffer from and is often secondary condition of SLE. Hope this helps..
I get a rash on my feet. Normally in winter when my feet get hot. Starts off like red spots then develops into bleeding under the skin. Then it dries out like a blood blister and peels off. Have never found anything to help though. Just a process it goes through. It can be very painful though and I would recommend comfortable shoes
Hi there, I too have this with my feet, but it is mostly aggravated by the sun. I saw a dermatologist who saw the rash and said I have cutaneous vasculitus to my skin and eyes. I have rashes elsewhere in any season, but don't suffer like my feet. Steroids, oral prednisolone are what I'm always prescribed. Hope this helps.
hi
I had very similar symptons but just on my toes, they eventually went from red and blister like to a deep purple (almost black!) colour. It took some time to convince the doctor it wasn't frostbite and he refered me for test.
Basically it looks and behaves like raynauds but is actually our old friend lupus, what a surprise! And because it's lupus based it also affects my toes in the hot as well as cold weather.
I take nifedipine during autumn/winter/spring and a dose of steroids if it gets particularly bad, and of course lots of thermal socks and warm boots
Hope you get it sorted soon
