Not entitled to esa or anything as my fiance works full time.

Its crippling us having to pay for all the prescriptions every 3 wks or so and hospital travel costs and just living on basics.

I have looked at the example of the forms they send you to fill in and none of the questions relate to my illness. Feeling really confused a out how i can get help is there anything that i could claim?

do you know that you can get a prescription prepayment certificate.it is £104.00 per annum payable by monthly dd.i have one as I have 6 items a month on prescription.

go to nhsbsa.nhs.uk/healthcosts or email nhsbsa.ppc1@nhs.net.

also go to local jobcentre and ask fro a (think its)HC1 form-to apply fro help with health costs ie dental treatment glasses and travel to hospital.etc.form should also be available from drs/dentists or CAB.

well you lot have beaten me to it. It takes me quite a while to navigate to this site now that it has changed. I have just been put on acetyl cysteine and note that it is £38.70 for 100 tabs. Blimey. Expensive lady me!

if you are a member of the charity Lupus UK they have a range of publications produced by an external organisation - Benefits & Work, that you can access lupusuk.org.uk/living-with-...

As far as I know fatigue and pain should be taken into account reagarding what you can "do" eg re mobility re needing help etc
