I'm sorry if I am moaning again. And it is quite a trivial moan compared to a lot of what people go through. But here comes my moan.. Today was quite a good day compared to recent weeks or longer. Managed to drive the kids to school and pick up my prescription by myself and felt my balance problem was a little better despite coming down with heavy cold.
But tonight ugh. It is 1.15am and I cannot sleep due to a terrible terrible headache, pain around most likely sinus area, jaw and my ears are sloshing sea sounds and crackling with some lovely tinnitus thrown in.
It's just so typical to have a better day and then come crashing back down. Pain killers not touching pain/headache. Resorted to ibroprufen which I am not supposed to take due to inflammation stomach/duodenum. Honestly sometimes just can't win!

trueman, don't be sorry for "moaning". It's not moaning, it's sharing a problem.
I know how you feel. At the beginning of last month, I had a mild case of aseptic meningitis and then I went on holiday, somewhere very hot, and kept having to take afternoon naps. And then, THEN, I get bitten both on holiday and back in the UK and develop a beautiful (although very mild) case of cellulitis and am now on antibiotics until Thursday, after my leg swelled up like the michelin man.
With lupus, you can go for months without a single incident but then you keep getting struck down like a skittle. There really is no telling and I have taken it as my right to complain to the select few (i.e., fellow loopy sufferers) when I am feeling down as they are the only ones who will truly know what I am going through.
