Yes. Its more about if you feel physically and mentally able to work. Most people with lupus are on immune suppresents but many are still able to work. I guess I would say try not to let the immune suppression rule your life. It could be easy to become quite reclusive with this disease. I am also on strong immune suppresents and I just deal with infections when they happen. We have enough restrictions on us with sunlight etc so live the life that you sre able within the limits of your disease activity. If you feel well enough to work and you want to thendont let tthat stop you x
Good answer Sarah.
Yes. My daughter is on Cellcept (MMF) and until recently worked in a nursery. It really is up to how you feel. Good luck
I have MMF at 2000mg per day - i work 3 x days per week and come into contact with clients face to face. I work with the homeless!!!
I try to avoid colleagues or clients who have active viruses or infections! They respect this and will always try to avoid me lol!
IE a manager just came back from work after being off sick for 3 weeks with chicken pox. They allowed me to work at a different office for a week or two until there would be no signs of infection.
i swear by soluble vitamin c and zinc which i take every day for my immune system!
You can't live your life in a bubble!
