On Wednesday I have my first appointment with the rheumatologist - more than 3 years since diagnosis! My ANA levels have increased considerably since I was first diagnosed. My wrists and neck hurt all the time, I'm exhausted most of the time, tired the rest. I also have other pains on and off. What would anyone recommend I ask at my appointment? I want to make the most of it! My GP has suggested I ask about hydroxychloriquine as my sister has Lupus and has been on that for years and hardly has any symptoms.
First Rheumy appointment.: On Wednesday I have my... - LUPUS UK
First Rheumy appointment.
Make a detailed list of all the questions you want to ask , try and keep a diary of how you feel on a day to day , as things can change so much and is hard to keep track of how things are going, if possible take somebody along to appt with you and take notes of what Rheumatologist advises, as its often difficult to remember . The appt time is your chance to ask all the questions - do not feel rushed, ask all things you want explained- thats what they are there for. Good luck with your appt and hope things begin to improve for you , Take care
Thank you. Not sure if there is anyone who is able to come with me. My husband was going to come but he's had so much time off work to look after me following a recent operation for breast cancer that he can't now take the time off. But I'll try to make notes to take with me and notes when I'm there.
