I do my feet and hands bleed from it and I get used to the cream so fast I have to change them every few weeks. The GP prescribed flexitol heal balm and flexitol body balm so far the only thing that is working so fingers crossed.

I don't have it as bad as luupy Sue but I do suffer from very dry skin all over, I can't shower every day have one every other day, I use double base shower gel and moisturiser gel which my GP prescribed, I find it's very soothing on my rashes too. Hope you find something that works

I have really dry, itchy skin too and Ive found that Hemp body butter from the Body Shop is really soothing. I put it I the fridge and then apply it after a bath or shower and it definitely helps. They also do hemp hand cream and my friends hubby, who has excema and is a mechanic so suffers terribly with sore skin on his hands, said that it works for him too.

I have psoriac arthritis with my lupus but fortunately don't get actual psoriasis with it but do get it badly in my nails and also my heels, edges around feet and fingers used to guzzle moisturizer and crack and bleed. The GP has given me numerous creams etc to try but they haven't worked to great but after being recomended by a friend I bought 'l'occitane 100% shea butter' it comes in a tin and looks like soft candle wax. I call it my miracle item! It seems to heel in a few days most things like my feet and hands etc, sore cracked lips, my daughter had bad eczema ever since a baby and she doesn't have a single patch on her now. You only need apply it once at bedtime. They have a website if U want to Google it online! Good luck hope it heals soon x x

Hi Jack my skin gets in such a bad state that I throw my bed linen away and buy new as there is so much blood on it and can't wash it off as my skin is in such a bad way sometimes and have even been hospitalised sometimes as my organs have dehydrated through the sores on my skin - I look like I am covered in burns sometimes when it is really bad but my hands and feet are often quite bad, when my feet are bad I can't walk, and my dermatologist has always recommended that I use liquid and soft parafin available both on prescription and from chemists and then put on trainer socks/cotton gloves over night. Before putting the parafin on wash your hands and feet and pat almost dry with clean towel and apply very generously so that it is running all over your hands/feet and soaks through the gloves/socks you put on. This stuff is highly flammable though so don't use a gas cooker or smoke while you have it on your hands as that could cause a nasty accident.

Remove any low energy and flourescent light bulbs from your house if you are photosensitive and keep protected from the sun, cover as much skin as possible any skin that is exposed use at least a factor 50 suncream.

Good luck I hope that your skin is on the mend soon

I soak in the bath once a week with either olive, tea tree or any bath oil added. This really help to moisturize my skin.

I'm not has bad has some, my major problem is with my feet I have scleroderma and my skin is so hard, was really bad cracked but manuka honey cream cured that, but If I don't get rid of the hard skin after a couple of days I cant walk. I tried the new batteries machine on the market which wont even touch it.

I have had very bad psoriasis for years and nothing helped not even doctor medicine but DermalMD’s Psoriasis Serum cleared my skin in about 3 days of using it twice a day i love this stuff!!!
