Can you get hair loss of hair on your arms and legs too? My arms look like a plucked turkey and not had it on my lower legs for years?

Are you taking steroids?

I can't remember the last time I shaved my armpits or legs. I took between 30mg and 5mg of steroids for 5 1/2 years - and even though I've stopped the steroids, the hair has not come back yet.

On my head it has made a return CURLY - which, given that I only lost it at the front, looks really stupid tacked on to the rest of my dead straight hair. But hey ho - hair or the lack of it is really the least of our problems!

I have the opposite problem apart from my head, the hair everywhere else grows quickly.

It also seems to be growing where it shouldn't like fine hair over the side of my face,it's not too noticeable at the moment but I am very aware it is there.

I have been taking steroids for 17 years now and have never got below 15mg.

Thank you, new to this and don't always know what is associated with lupus and what isn't. X
