Hi 1973Ren

Sorry to hear of your symptoms, this can happen with some cancer treatments and we would advise you to let your oncology team know, it is knows as peripheral neuropathy.

This link from Cancer Research UK which provides information on the management of your symptoms: cancerresearchuk.org/about-...

If you are not on any treatment and this is a new or worsening symptom, then we it is best to have your specialist assess your symptoms.

There may be other treatments available in South Africa that are not licensed in the UK so would be worth checking with your oncology team. If it is caused by cancer treatment, sometimes they pause or reduce the dose to allow the symptoms to settle.

You may find this link from Cancer Research UK on managing change in taste buds, again caused by some cancer drugs: cancerresearchuk.org/about-...

Hope you find some relief soon from your symptoms.

Kind regards
