I have been taking part in ONS survey where you take part for 1 year getting monthly tests for Covid. Well I had my test on Wednesday and they phoned me this morning saying I have tested positive for Covid. To say I was utterly shocked would be an understatement. As due to having Lung cancer I have been shielding and taking 100% caution. No one is safe by the looks if it. At the moment I feel okay so fingers crossed it doesn't develop into something serious.
All of you on here please stay safe ❤❤

Dear Ollie13Sorry to hear you have had a positive Covid test, hopefully as it has been detected as surveillance and not due to any symptoms, you may be asymptomatic and not experience any symptoms.
A Covid test is usually positive around day 3-4 of exposure or days 7-10, sometimes we may never know the source of the exposure, especially as you have been shielding.
As you say you can never be too careful, continuing to wipe down surfaces or door handles if anyone has been in dropping shopping off for example.
Hope you continue to feel well and your next text is negative.
