Insurance with 02038293875

I’ve paid £90 for the year

There are different levels of cover.

I only covered my medical problem (lung cancer) as I was already covered on a family holiday insurance one for losses etc.

I have looked it up. And I’ve rung them. There is no way they would insure me for a year.x

I’ve just made the post a little bit clearer.

There’s three levels of cover I just covered my medical issue and covered fir the rest on a family policy that worked out cheaper as well x

That makes more sense. I thought when you first said £80 for the year included full travel and medical.x

It’s not much more with the rest in it worked out about £150 roughly for the year . I know someone was covered for less than £200 and he was terminal .

Im covered for the year £90 ish for medical

I did actually get a better deal than that with boots. I had to pay for each holiday as I went along though. No way would they insure for a year. I am terminal though.x

Glad you eventually got sorted. I’m not terminal but I’m left with a few problems from the radio and I was stage Advanced 3b xx

You are very lucky to have found that. I paid over £500 for annual policy with UK insurance. Lung cancer not covered.

Enjoy your holiday

Thank you. I had to cancel earlier this year as i was in treatment. My oncologist told me about it. If you look on the website and load the page there’s drop down boxes which some include illnesses have a look and just get a quote for next time x

I started travelling internationally again in 2016 (5.5 years after my lobectomy and 5 years post diagnosis) and have not been able to obtain an annual policy with anyone. Until this September when, having waited all year due to various investigations, I was finally in a position to get some quotes and found Saga has changed its question from 'have you ever been diagnosed with cancer?' to 'in the last 5 years have you been diagnosed with cancer'? I phoned them to check this was correct as all other insurers still ask the question 'have you ever' and their response was that their insurers said that after 5 years the risk is considered the same as their insurable population (which is over 50s) so for the first time I was able to take out an annual policy that covered me for a work trip to Spain and holiday in Malaysia. I use the website 'paying too much' and have found different companies are more competitive to certain countries and less so for others.

It’s bad really. When I started to look quotes were coming up to nearly £4000 which is disgusting.

Mine was inoperable but treatable and I am not on any treatment or meds now maybe that’s why it came up with that price for me. Xx

Have you tried Insurancewith - a specialist company for even patients on palliative care for cancer? There are an increasing number of lung cancer patients who are terminal but treatable or even curative intent treatment without surgery who are travelling and obtaining insurance. Insurance with is a specialist company who assess each patient and their risks based on their treatment. I also found cover from CloudBuy , Staysure, Get Going - dependent on where I was travelling to. Spain tends to be more expensive than other European destinations and USA/Canada/Caribbean almost impossible but I've travelled and obtained insurance with cover to Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Bali, Slovenia, Spain, Germany, Austria and Greece in the last few years. hope you find something suitable even if you have to buy one-off policies as I've had to until a couple of months ago.

It depends on if there is in going treatnent etc one I was quoted was 4000 . However if you feel fit but feel unwell best option. Is book an early flight home if you can that’s what I will do if I need to don’t let companies rip you off x
