Treatment Delayed

Hi everyone

I was due to start immunotherapy last Wednesday but woke with a fever and breathlessness. The GP sent me to hospital where I was admitted with pneumonia. It took a few days to get the right antibiotics but I'm now feeling a lot better and hoping to be out in a day or two. I am scheduled to begin treatment on Tuesday but that was arranged before I knew I had pneumonia. I'll get in touch tomorrow to see what they think.

So, I'm now beginning to understand the members who talk about the hurdles that appear on this journey!

Dear Aamar1

Sorry to hear about your pneumonia, and do hope you feel better soon. As everyone has written, along this journey there always seems to be little obstacles or delays, but hope they are few and far between for you and there are people on the forum who truly understand what you are going through.

As always our Freephone nurse led helpline number is 0800 358 7200

All the very best
