Cough for 4 month. Went for an xray yesterday told me it would be 2 wks for results. Doctor phone tonight while I was out. Should I be worried?

Good luck for tomorrow when you call your doc. You may be lucky that they looked at it quickly and had results immediately. I was told they always say a week but can sometimes give them in aday x even if the X-ray is fine you might want to push for a CT scan to reassure yourself. My X-ray was clear , a broncoscopy was clear but the CT done was not. I am very grateful I got the CT done as it allowed me to get this at stage 1. Try to sleep and good luck again - it is more likely to be fine than not .x

As your post was last night you will probably have phoned your GP this morning Westimax2 and will now have more information following your Xray. Please keep in touch.
