Hey guys havent posted for a few days. Im still learning the actual diagnosis for dad since hearing the shocking news 5 days ago. Im waiting to speak to the surgeon on dads behalf as he is full of questions as to why they cant do surgery which makes me sad. I feel he is in denial still of the actual diagnosis. From the info I have it looks like advanced s4 SCLC with mets in ribs. He keeps asking me why cant they remove the ribs & cut the tumour from the lung :( just wondered if there are any patients with a similar diagnosis & any words of support/advice in any of the above. I want to fast forward time to a place where dad has accepted the diagnosis & finds that fight to enjoy every remaining day. Please god it comes sooner rather than later :( xx
