I can't remember where but the term I have heard used is "scanxiety" - it is good to know you are being monitored and looked after but appointment time can set the nerves on edge.

Hi Sheeni, yes scanxiety is always a problem around CT time, I'm still waiting for my radiography report from last weeks scan and sitting in hospital waiting for the result of a blood test to see if today's scheduled chemo is going to go ahead.

Hi, just wanted to say, results from ct scan show no progression and consultant is happy with treatment and so I carry on as I have done, so I'm happy with that, have a good Easter xx

That's good news Sheeni, it means you can enjoy the Easter break. Can you tell us what type of cancer you have and the name of the trial drug please as it would be interesting to know if it is viable for others. Cheers Rab.

P.S I'm still waiting for my radiologiste report but my blood counts had gone up so we decided to go ahead with the 3rd of chemo.
