Treatment Failures

All treatments have failed so need help.

I have had targeted therapy, immunotherapy and chemotherapy. I am still alive after 2 years but the expectation at the start was 10 years. My cancer has changed from the start when it was EGFR positive, ALK negative but I'm not sure quite how.

As a last resort the hospital are now trying Osimertiinib which has only 2% chance with my type of cancer. Please God it works for me. Your prayers and positive thoughts would be very gratefully received as I believe the chance of my survival is now dependent on my cancer community and the Lord.

Thank you

Elizabeth

Thank you Denzie. You are one of the people I want to be. To have cancer and to truly live with it . I know envy is not a good thing but it is very hard not to envy you . I wish you well and thank you for all the time you spend reading our mail and offering your advice and good wishes. Sending love and remembering you in my prayers as I believe they all count. Sally

Hi Sally have they done a biopsy? I'm guessing you have either egfr exon 19 deletion or exon 21. Osimertinib is a miracle drug and I wish you all the best with the treatment.🤍

Hi SallyI’m adding you to my pray wall and will ask my prayer warrior friends to do the same. Keep the faith and focus on living fully each day. You are still here and miracles happen everyday. Sending love, light, and positive energy. 💕🙏🌸

I’ve sent you a private message but want to add more here.

2% is a very slim chance but there’s no reason you can’t be one of those 2 percenters. When diagnosed, I had a 1% chance of living five years.

In the time it takes to learn whether or not this works a new breakthrough may occur. It’s that kind of hope that keeps us going. It’s my hope for you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.I’m sorry,I can’t ans,wer your query,as I have no knowledge of this xx

I am so sorry to hear this. I will pray for you right now, for healing and for your heart and family too. Sounds like this cancer was super stealthy in mutating or not being fooled by the treatments so far. Unless your doctor has ordered new biomarker testing, who knows what exact “type” you have right? I will ignore the statistics and hope the unique YOU responds to this new treatment. Prayers, Jennifer.
