I was diagnosed in Oct 2016. While waiting for results of genomics test from tissue biopsy I received one infusion of moderate dose of Alimta/Carbo. Results showed NSCLC adenocarcinoma EGFR+ with baseline T790M and L858R. Started treatment with Tagrisso Nov 2016. Last PET scan May 2019 confirmed progression (after 30 mo on Tagrisso): retention of T790M, L858R, new C797S and two deletions. Screened for acceptance into JNJ-372 clinical trial at City of Hope in So California. Will receive first infusion next week after ending 2 week washout of Tagrisso.

Thank you. I’m alive today because someone, somewhere, somewhen participated in clinical trials. Without people like you, who are willing to pay it forward with the hope of helping others in the future and finding a miracle for themselves, medicine would still be in the dark age.

So very sorry that you’ve had progression and had to make this decision. I send hope that this JNJ-372 trial gives you decades of progression free survival. Please update us from time to time.

When I have progression I will follow in your footsteps.
