I was diagnosed with stage 4 NSCLC in 2010. I am beginning my sixth year next month! I have had traditional chemo therapy and gene targeted therapies. I am currently on Tagrisso and I am stable. I worked full time up until December when I retired. My health is my full time job now!

Good picture, love your best friend. You go girl!
I am always encouraged to hear other people's success stories. Thank you for sharing and God bless.
Thank you for for encouraging post. I am stage 3, VATS surgery on both left lobes in 2013, no lymph node involvement. Opted not to do chemo. Was clear until a very small recurrence last year and had stereotactic radiation. So far, all is good. Every post from a long time survivor gives me hope that I will be one too, so keep posting!
Sounds like you are doing great. I'm only a couple years out. Very encouraged. Thanks!
Congratulations on how well you're doing! I have the same diagnosis and am currently on tagrisso, my diagnosis was October 2013. Any suggestions to avoid feeling helpless? I am unable to work since my diagnosis, days are long but I won't give up!
