Hi Sam, I have left arm lymphoedema and use the treadmill, recumbent or upright bike, rowing machine and weights at the gym and haven't noticed left limb sweating more particularly.
it’s complicated. I was diagnosed with primary lymphoedema in my right leg over 50 years ago. For most of that time I’ve worn compression on my right leg and taken regular exercise, swimming, cycling, weights, skiing, etc. Recently I’ve focused more on reducing the swelling in my leg (previously I’d just accepted it was likely to get worse). I’ve done that with reasonable success however, that’s made me rethink my exercise regime. I’ve been avoiding heavy exercise and coupled with self massage and a lot of compression, my leg and foot are now much better. Now my challenge is to up my exercise intensity without increasing the swelling in my leg and foot.
