meniscus repair surgery with lymphedema. How risky?

Others on here have experience of surgery with lower and upper limb lymphoedema and the key take away has been to get a meeting with the surgeon who is going to do the work to explain the issues of surgery on affected leg. And ensure you have your cellulitis alert card with you. If you can get your lymph nurse to give you a letter to give to the surgeon even better.
