Supply of stockings

I have been using Haddenham stocking for a few years. (They were described to me as the Rolls Royce of stockings). My usual pharmacy cannot supply these lately. I have been hawking my GPs prescription around local pharmacies to see you will supply me. is any one else having this problem?

Give Haddenham a call - 01844 208842 - they may be able to offer you a direct order if you have been using their products long term. Or, they may find out why the pharmacy is saying why it cannot supply (which seems odd to me!).

I may try that if my current prescription to another chemist does not go through.

I have now found out more. The stockings have to be ordered as "special" ie not through the pharmacy's normal suppliers. I spoke to the pharmacist this morning and she was most helpful and showed the paperwork detailing the order she made. I am hopeful! Previous staff seem to have not been fully trained or not willing to take the trouble.

I have just got some Haddenham stockings. I am under the Lymphoedema clinic. My nurse sends my prescription directly to Haddenham . Could whoever is writing your prescription send it to Haddenham directly? I had mine back in less than a week. Good luck!

What makes Haddenham the best? Wonder if they’re available in the US; will try to find out.
