Swollen feet

What causes the deep rings around my swollen feet the deep ring is from one side of the ankle to the other side has been like this for 20yrs

Is it where the ankle naturally bends, or around the ankle ‘bones’?

No it's in the front of the foot where you bend your foot backwards and forwards the ring goes around the ankle bone you can not see my ankles cos of swelling finding it difficult to stand and walk as painful today is a very bad day so resting with feet up watching tv
