Hi all just want to thank everyone who wished me well with op and update my progress as promised.i am now into week 2 still a bit sore and needing pain relief. My leg is looking a big bit bruised but lower leg is healing well and amazingly thin, every 2nd day fara wraps removed for dressing change and just amazed at new shaped leg,now managing to shower and return to a bit of normality around the house.I have a clinic appointment on the 12th of April when I will return to wearing support garment.First week has been very uncomfortable but now feel I am turning a corner in recovery.Hope everyone has a good day regards Linda x

Glad to hear you are doing well. Be patient as it does take time. I am at week 6 post op and my leg still feels uncomfortable usually when lying down. Worst is in evening. Nothing unbearablelse. It takes a while to recuperate. Give yourself the time you need to fully recover. Like you I'm pleased with the new shape. Glad your recovery is going well. Take care.

Hi Lynne-byn I am doing well and recouping pretty good. I will say that the road to recovery from SAPL surgery is a process. While you can begin resuming your life in a few weeks ofter surgery, the recovery pricess is longer and one must be patient. I am very happy with the results. I'm at 8 weeks now and just saw my pt. My leg looks awesome and beginning to feel more like mine again. Xoxo

Hurrah for you!

I have had primary lymphoedema for the past 30 years and would dearly love to try liposuction. I wonder if you would be happy to pass on the consultants details please ? kwolf399@gmail.com

Many thanks ☺
