Yes been there but all healed up now just weare compression stockings and make sure no nicks bites or anything else that can lead to infection. Must keep skin well lubricated and supple!

Is your lymphoedema practitioner using Debrisoft, prior to bandaging? It does help to get rid of the skin slough, and allow the underlying tissue to repair.

very interesting but have no time to reply right now However I feel that I can assist you in some way using Aloe vera PLANT . This is used in Eastern Europe with great success. From personal use I can attest to its efficacy , what is the measure ment of the wound and how ie it covered and how often is the 'dressing changed?

Here is an international petition for every country and everybody that wants to fight this ignorance and bring lymphedema awareness around the world. If we collect sufficient signatures, each of us can use it for his own country to request more treatment, more research, more refund and eventually a cure! the only thing you need to do is to put your name, town and country and you are part of this big international movement.

I also put it on facebook, if somebody has the guts to put it on his wall and collect more signatures from friends and families, it will make it move quicker:
