Hi, sorry to hear you are suffering such a lot at the moment. As u know there is no cure but 40 years ago I had 3 ops at St Thomas hospital in London on the NHS. These were reducing ops done by Prof Kinmoiuth - now retired, and Mr Bernand. I don' t know if Mr Bernand is still practising or if the hospital still do the ops but it may be worth investigating. I have to say they were pretty awful ops but in the short to medium term they helped.

I don't know if I had my time over again I would do the same but at the time there was no other treatment and I was a you ng fit teenager!!!!

Hope things improve for you,regards.

if you have cellulitis as a result of your lymphoedema my understanding is that you shouldn't use any compression until the limb is healed and the skin is dry.
