You need to get a podiatry assessment.

What's one of those

A ‘foot specialist’ who will check out the anatomy and function of the foot. Some people use the term chiropodist.

Yes, but I have Lympthoedema in both legs. For some reason a short while back the heel pain under the right foot was horrendous. I have foot problems also - difficult to know which condition is causing which pain sometimes. I was aware of indenting staying in so more like Oedema. At the same time I was very breathy, sluggish, poor, slow painful mobility - so I think it may have all been due to my Thyroid condition.

I get this all day everyday, it’s the worst pain I’ve had in years.

I have never had heel pain due to my lymphedema. I have jowere, had heel pain diagnosed by my foot doctor as plantar fasciitis. This is ultimately an inflammation of the tendon that runs from your toes up the back of your leg. One thing that helps relieve the pain is stretching out the calf muscle. Another thing is icing the heel. It is a very painful situation, and one like Lymphedema that I am able to "manage" through wearing good shoes and stretching. Good luck.

yes I do, it was diagnosed as plantar fasciitis and its agony, I couldn't put my foot on the floor properly at times and mobility was really affected. However I was put onto Gabapentin which in time has relieved the condition so I hope you get some help too

Yes many times plus on a few occasions it was my plantar facitis which I ended up with pressure sores because I ended up in hospital in case I got infection ( they were at tops of legs ) the doctor gave me ointment to rub in my feet that was useless his answer was it will go in time now I have an ulcer on heel the whole heel have been told it will take months to heal been sitting on my bum for 5 month getting better this was cause by two bouts of infection in legs if I was you I would go to a podiatris it could callouses like hard pieces under skin but they will know or could be start of ulcer I hope not for your sake good luck

In my NHS area I can self-refer to Podiatry but if it's for plantar fasciitis the first thing you will be given is an exercise sheet showing stretches that will help. My partner has it in left heel worse than right heel.
