Can asthma make/cause anxiety

So first off I'm new and I was wondering this, so for a minute I have been having really bad asthma attacks and I've been in the hospital a couple times and I was just wondering if it could effect mental health any anwsers would be nice. Have a nice day everyone 😀

Anxiety can most definitely make your asthma symptoms worse.

Talking with your physician about how you are feeling is a good first step!

Do your best to avoid a stressful situation and try relaxation breathing exercises.

They help me 😊

Thank you Carakraft I will definitely talk to my physician I have been struggling with health anxiety and generalized anxiety for the past couple years yet asthma since I was 6-7 hope you are feeling well thanks for the reply 🤗🤗
