Hi Jonn. I started Nucala injections November 2021. At first, I didn't feel any better, but the last 12 months I have felt like a new woman! I run and weight train again! So give it a few months and see how you go. Good luck.

Hi Jonn. For me, the effects positive effects started 2 weeks after the injection. My pulmonologist has 3 patients in treatment with Nucala:

Me, almost immediately effect

Another one who had to wait 3 months to start to feel better

The third one needed 6 weeks.

It’s different for everyone. My case may be successful for my asthma and allergies, but I feel a lot of pain in every joint during the all day, and my upper back during night

I don’t know about the other patients, only what my doctor told me. I personally don’t know any other person with eosinophilic asthma in my country.

Mine was super fast, I think I started to feel almost normal In 2 weeks. I had energy and was cured from the allergies I developed as and adult (dust and cats), took my nephews to the amusement park and I was even able to run a little to catch them. It’s important to say that my asthma only started like 5 years ago.

Now we have to wait what will happens with the spring allergy season that normally starts at the end of august (I live in the southern hemisphere). Other allergies like the ones to most condiments (only rhinitis) is still active)

I had 2 nighttime asthma attacks in 3 months. My asthmatic cough has taken longer to get better, specially since I got sick with the flu 2 weeks ago.

Before I started Nucala I ended up with pneumonia and hospitalized with every little virus, going up to stairs was impossible and walking a block was a kamikaze mission, I wasn’t even able to drive, cause I was feeling too tired.

Hi John - give it time and dont put any pressure on yourself. I have been on it for four years - took a while to get going. Even now I still get very tired in and around the injection date. Jut hang in there. John

Thx for the reply john.its funny you mention the injection date.i was saying to my wife it seems for the first week I'm stronger but as week 3 approaches I seem to go back to being breathless again.its really difficult to know if it's a psychological effect.
