Hi everyone I've recently just joined and wanted to share abit of my story, I got diagnosed with bpd adhd anxiety and depression back in 2019 when I got the diagnosis it was closure for me as I always felt different too everyone else. I struggle massively with social anxiety and find it hard to make friends I currently also dont have a job due to struggling with mental health issues but I do go too college and studying about the mind and MH problems and how to cope.

I live in the UK and I'm 21 I dont have many friends or family but I do have amazing boyfriend who is very supportive and very patient with me. I also got diagnosed with pcos which is such a struggle on top of dealing with the other issues...

I'd love too get to know people and here their story on how the coped with their problems thank you if you got this far reading. Xx

Hello & Welcome :-)

This is a very quite Community for some reason which is a shame but thought I would just mention that as I did not want you to think the lack of replies was anything to do with you or your post it just is lacking on here with members replying to posts

There are several other Communities on Health Unlocked that also our Anxiety related etc , if you go into your hub where it says " Find Communities " and put in anxiety they will come up and you can be a member of more than one Community on Health Unlocked , maybe you have already worked that out but again just thought I would say in case it could help you :-)

You are so young and have so much to deal with , I started with anxiety at a very young age but when I did there was not all the help and support there is now so mine just got swept to one side and I would take and accept any help you are offered , be it therapy or whatever else your Doctor maybe able to refer you for and don't be afraid to ask for it :-)

You are not on your own and I think you are doing really well by going to colleague , good for you , that takes some doing so you should feel really proud of yourself :-)

I have grown up children now and they do not suffer with MH problems thank goodness but my Son he has a few friends but what I always say , it is better to have a few loyal supportive friends rather than lots of friends who really don't care about you that much :-)

As time goes on you may make more friends but I would not put pressure or feel your worth is based on this , a small circle of people around you can be worth so much more :-)

I am glad you have a supportive boyfriend , I have a supportive husband and my family is small to but it is the quality I tell myself rather than the quantity :-)

I am not sure what pcos is but again could be worth searching Communities in your Hub as Health unlocked has a Community for most things people are suffering from and the more help you can get the better :-)

Take Care x

Welcome to the group, Annie. It's so nice to have you join us. The struggles you've been having with your health are commonly faced by persons living with anxiety so don't feel as though you're alone. Having friends who are supportive is also great and I'm glad to know your boyfriend is someone you can turn to. I encourage you to share in this group whenever life gets overwhelming. It's a good way to cope and it's a free tool that provides a safe, non-judgemental space. We have over 5,000 members and although it's quiet on here at times there'll always be someone who can offer hope and maybe even a little bit of insight. I'll be praying for you in your healing journey. Sending hugs. :)
