I've been a lurker on this board for a long time, and occasional participant when things get bad. The help I've had has been amazing and I'm so grateful for all those people who let me know that what I was experiencing was not unique or even unusual, and that I was not alone in feeling that way.
I've learned loads about how others cope, especially those like me who work full time and have family etc responsibilities. And for the last 2 years I've been writing down all the ways I personally manage my anxiety (which is focused around health anxiety). It's now over 100 pages long - a short book! - and I'm pleased with how it's come out.
I haven't done it to make money - it's free. I don't have a service to sell or anything, I'm just a person! Amazon doesn't let you self-publish permanently free books so it is on my website as a PDF: sefchurchill.com/free-writi... or on Smashwords ebook website - smashwords.com/books/view/9...
It's called What Works, and it's a personal list-style thing of techniques which work for me. It doesn't talk about curing anxiety and it is NOT meant to be any kind of substitute for professional help. It IS meant to reassure people with anxiety that they are not alone and that small, practical things can comfort them while they seek help and begin to recover.
Anyway, I hope you take a look, and if you do, I hope it helps you. It's just a small way of giving back some of the support I've had here over the years.
