Can someone please help me. I am on A Beta Blocker Bilocor 10 mg for my heart and now my Opthmologist has prescribed Beta Blocker eye drops for the pressure in my eyes. Apparently it is dangerous to take both . Does anyone know if there is another eye drop that does not affect the heart in any way possible. Please im really very stressed about these eye drops.

Hello :-)

None of us on here are doctors so cannot advise you on what to take , however as you are seeing specialists about your condition they should know what medications you are on and what you can and can't take together

I would get in contact with them as soon as you can and tell them your concerns and what you have read about taking both these medications and let them advise you if it is safe , or if you feel unhappy about taking them both then ask if there is an alternative

Try not to get stressed , you will get it sorted , you do need to speak to them though about this :-)

Good Luck :-)

Take Care x
