Hello RAB888 :-)

I agree that it can but when anxiety engulf's us and we are struggling understanding as simple as it may be can be hard to put into practice yet if we keep practising and have support and understanding hopefully we will all get there :-)

I hope your understanding of your experiences has brought you to a place where your anxiety has faded away :-)

Take Care x

Here's the thing... I used to suffer, but now I don't.

No therapy, counselling, medication, etc.

They may help temporarily, but it's not the answer.

Talking really only keeps you feeling the same.

Gaining an understanding is where it's at.

And it can help you in all areas of your life...

If that is what worked for you then that is fantastic :-)

Everyone is different so sometimes other interventions are needed also :-)

But great to see you have overcome your anxiety and long may it continue :-) x

It is such a shame when someone struggles with these types of issues when there really is no reason to

At it's core, what you are saying is absolutely correct. Getting there can be profoundly complicated and difficult for a person the longer they have lived with anxiety prior to seeking help. The thought processes and neurochemical changes become more and more solidified and harder to undo. I was lucky I work in healthcare and the doc I work with urged me to seek CBT before it got worse and I did and am much better, thankfully. Not everybody gets great advice so early from a trusted professional, nor is the condition often identified and that's what is unfortunate about Healthcare today 😒 If only we could all get the support we need in a timely manner I believe nobody would be suffering from this very scary condition.

I am glad you are much better after CBT. I used to suffer with anxiety and have never received therapy or medication etc. I no longer suffer with it because I know the thinking behind it.

Unfortunately, even with treatment people may still suffer, and/or spend years or their whole lifetime trying different ways to overcome their issues without success.

I was very fortunate last year to have come across a revolutionary new approach that educates about the nature of our minds.

Current methods work from the outside in...

This new understanding works from the inside out...

Thanks for sharing!
