Thank you for sharing this tiffany! 😆that was very kind of you. Glad you found your technique, it sounds a bit like the mindfulness tecnique I've been hearing a lot of recently.

I'm a bit of a lost cause as it's my children that trigger my anxiety mostly and I've 5. Can't avoid it! Lol

Oh, no lol. yeah, as a parent you will never stopping the worrying and stress and anxiety but I hope you find a way to manager it so you feel better. A lot of my anxiety is triggered by family too (no kids) which is hard to control but I've found ways to take me time and I think that's important to take care of yourself. Which is hard to do. I imagine even harder for you as a parent. You're important and I hope you find a balance.

Oh and yeah, i've tried CBT, mindful stuff. It doesn't always work for me but I found that letting myself know that i've gotten through it before has helped in situations. That's why the technique is cool.

Example: My Mom likes to go to her friends House and stay longer than she tells me, she doesn't have a cell phone to check in,so I start to worry that something had happened to her on the freeway. But usually what happens is she goes to her other friends House too, making her late coming home. Plus if she broke Down, someone would help her and she borrow a cell to call right away.
