I'm so sorry to hear about your your Nplate miseries. Pain in the "extremities" and headache are (sadly) both common side effects of Nplate. I've been on it for 8 months, and sometimes the pain in my feet a forearms is so severe that it wakes me up in the middle of the night and keeps me from sleeping (unless I hit the pain killers). My hemotologist seems to think it may be caused by the platelet activity of Nplate, and doesn't think it's anything to worry about.

I've found that getting up, moving around and staying busy seem to help, but when you're fatiqued during the day or trying to sleep at night, it's not so easy to deal with. Unfortunately, I sometimes have resort to painkillers when it becomes really severe. Take care.
