Medicines prohibited for ITP patients

Hi,

I think I've seen list of medicines that ITP patients should avoid, in addition to Aspirin etc. I'm not sure whether it was published here or on ITP Association website. I somehow cannot find this list anymore and would be grateful if someone could direct me.

Hi,There is a list of such drugs available by searching. Drugs causing thrombcytopenia or low platelet count .It is published by. MedicineWorld.org. The list is quite long and contains a drug that I am taking without ill effects on my ITP. I hope this list is helpful but I pass it on without any comment. Derek

The only one I know to definatly avoid is anti-imflamatories (this includes pain relief gels).
