what about liquid chlorophyll, papaya leaf juice, iron, B vitamins, vit D?

I'm at the start of this journey with my friend recently diagnosed and on steriods, Has anyone tried the above?

I take vitamin D (advised for all over 60s), and iron water (as I have intermittent iron deficiency). If you don't actually *need* to take them, it just makes expensive urine! Hopefully you'll be getting most components of B vitamins from your diet 🙂

Vitamin D and B are indeed very important vitamins and it is useful to get your levels checked by a blood test as any deficiency in either of them can have a major impact on many aspects of our bodies including the immune system. The same goes for iron levels.

In terms of papaya leaf extract and chlorophyll sadly there is no evidence at all that they will help with ITP. I have asked some of the leading experts in ITP about them and they have replied that it is sadly "wishful thinking".
