Red stretch marks getting worse

Hi all!

I’ve got ITP and it appears that my PLT is holding around the 50 mark. I am also on 7mg steroids and ive been on steroids (varying dosages) for about 3 years.

I got red stretch marks for the first time ever about a year ago but I shrugged it off as I looked up that new stretch marks can be red.

I have now noticed over the past few months that my stretch marks are getting REALLY red and i am a little concerned. Is there any chance a low ITP can cause stretch marks to be much more prominent in colour? Is there another explanation?

This is probably not relevant, as my stretch marks are over 40 years old, but they stayed their usual silvery colour even when my platelets were down in single figures.I hope you find out what the problem is 🙂
