I have just recently joined this site. I have polymialgia rhuematica which has been controlled with low doses of steroids for 8 months. I’ve had a major flare up in my left hip. Very painful. Like having a square peg in a round hole. Have tried hitting it with 100mg prednisone daily 2 days ago but with no relief. How long before it takes effect? Anyone got any ideas or experience with this?
