Memory loss? Short term.

About 5 years ago I had ulcerative Collins and was prescribed prednisone. I ended body dependant on it and had to have a drip with the stuff. Long story short I survived and happy. But I feel my short term memory is damaged, I honestly screw up simple things and have confused rows with the wide with stuff I'm not 100percent on. Am clutching straws here? Or has the vast medical steroids effected me some way? Tell me straight please am I just rubbish at remembering things?

Hi when i was on a high dose of prednisolone it shot my memory too. I was told by my consultant that a side effect of very high doses of the steroids could have that effect. I have to write everything down or I forget, I dont remember things like I used to and it has had a serious impact on my work. I do understand. Nicky
