hi i m an itp patient..2 months back i recovered and my count was 120000,but i week back i met an accident bleeding was normal..

but there wer rashes in my body and wer painful i have been taking antibiotics and my wounds r heeled but rashes r still there...morever my counts dropped to 90000 any suggessions??????

Platelets often react to stress so this could have caused the mild drop Perhaps the rash is related to a reaction to antibiotics.I would not be too worried 90,000 is still considered quite normal by many and should not cause you many issues. Others experience patechia at many levels just monitor it is all I can suggest
