What to expect on first appointment?

Hi, me and my partner have been trying to conceive for 22 months now. I was referred to the infertility clinic a while ago and finally have my first appointment next month.

I know my partner has to come with me, but can anyone please advise me on what to expect with this first appointment. What tests they tend to do etc and when you tend to get the results?

Thanks in advance 🙂

Hiya, given that you and partner have all test done prior ie. Bloods and seman analysis, internal scan although they may do that on the day

They will just ask questions about your history and discuss what is the best option for you both mostly likely to suggest supplements while you wait for a follow up appointment

Yes I have already had an internal scan but it was 18 months ago now so not sure if they will do another one. That was to look at other issues as they suspected endometriosis. Thanks for getting back to me🙂
