Does anyone have any advice with the multi cycle or refund schemes that assess fertility offer?
I’m not sure which one to choose? Any advice would be greatly received xx

Hi, I am currently on the 2 multi cycle 50% refund option. I have had 1 fresh and 2 x FET's so far. I still have 1 fresh cycle to go which I am hoping to start this month. If there are any eggs left over from the fresh cycle, these can be frozen and used for your next FET. The only down side is you have to pay out for drugs for each cycle no matter if its for fresh or FET. I feel this 2 cycle 50% refund has benefitted me, as I would have spend a lot more doing them as individual go's. I think it depends on what you think is the best option for you. I know that if my next fish go & any FETs are covered and if they do not work, then I get half the money back through Access Fertility Program. Good luck and feel free to contact me should you have any questions x
Hi Unicorn. I am not with access myself, but I believe they are a great scheme to follow. I'm on the Assured Fertility programme myself which is sort of similar but they only offer 100% refunds which is why we ended up choosing them in the first place. They basically act as an insurance company and it is definitely worth calling them both up and speaking to them to make your own informed decision. I found the girl on the phone very helpful and she didn't pressure me in to any decisions and gave me loads of different advice and options and answered all of my silly questions for weeks before we actually decided to go ahead. Best decision we made, it definitely takes the pressure off us financially as if we failed at least we haven't lost any money because of it. You should do what you feel is best and make as many enquiries and phone calls as you need to and don't let anybody talk you in to doing anything until youre absolutely ready. good luck xx
Hi Smithy,
Thank you so much for your reply. I’ve heard about assured Fertility and have been in contact with them, it almost seems to good to be true the programme that they run. Which clinic have they put you with? Xx
I'm not on any of such schemes myself yet .. but if my IVF round 2 with donor eggs fails, I just might have to consider such a fertility program. However lucrative it may seem, make sure you read the contract documents carefully before considering any such programs. The clinic or the program should be responsible of any change of schedule, mis-handling or loss due to the fault of donors or surrogate if either of it concerns your case. This isn't much but hope it helps! Good luck
Hi! We're currently passing de ivf for a sibling with the clinic we used previously. They've got guaranteed programs. I mean they're telling they'll try multiple cycles so that the couple achieves pregnancy. If it's failure they refund all money paid back. Another plus is that they offer additional services along with all needed meds needed for the procedure. I believe you might find them reasonable and affordable. Feel free to private messaging. Take care x
I think an ideal offer would be one that has both the provision. The success rate for fresh transfers are around 53% while with FET it's around 74%. Which is why the 1st attempt may go unsuccessful and you need to make sure you get a second chance. So, the repeated attempt at any assisted fertility procedure is most desirable. However, it can't go on for infinite times obviously... 3 repetition is pretty good in regards to improving the success rate. However, if the tries come with a full refund in case there's no baby by the end of your package that's the best you can get. Stay optimistic and have hope... that's gonna help you with vitality and hormonal balance. Wish you luck!
Yes, both would be great. It often takes more than one shot to conceive. So that's also great to have a few more shots just in case. I also like the idea Mel77 says. You have 5 shots. And you have a guaranteed refund. Unicorn888, have you already chosen your scheme?
Wish you the best of luck!!
