Thinking of All of Us at this Time

Hi all this is just a post to wish you all have some peace at this time of the year. I know a lot of us will be either inICU or like me coming up to our ICU anniversaries , mine in January.

I hope and wish all those in hospital that you and your loved ones get your best present a loved one home soon. For those whom are coming up or having gone through your anniversary to hopefully be glad that we’ve pulled through against all the odds.

Best Wishes to everyone and especially to the people that run this site to allow us to post stories of desperate and scary times or asking questions for relatives that are desperate for information. THANK YOU

Well said. I have found a lot of comfort and advice from this site. And certainly feel less alone knowing I'm not the only one feeling the same as I do.I you am approaching my 5th anniversary ( 30th December 2019) since I went into icu for a month eith acute respiratory failure & pneumonia snd on ECMO FMfor 4 weeks.Still fresh in my mind but also seems surreal.

Thanks for the well wishes, BigH. I wish you, and all survivors here and their loved ones, a happy and healthy new year. April will be my tenth anniversary. I can still remember it all as though it were only a recent occurrence. I'm still carrying some of the legacies; this site was a lifeline connecting me to others and helped me know that I was not alone.
