It was the day I laid my dad to rest, I’d been feeling a bit unwell due to the circumstances maybe. After the service I went to the wake and couldn’t breathe properly, my partner took me to a+e I couldn’t even walk to the door by then and that’s all I remember till I woke up in icu 14 days later!! What happened my partner told me I was given co-amoxiclav straight into my arm which caused me to go very blue and die. I was given cpr and put on a ventilator and my partner was told to ring my family they wasn’t sure if I would make it through the night 😢. Thankfully I did and came out the other side, which I’m so grateful for the staff on icu. The road to recovery is long but with the love and support of my partner Emma and my family I’ll get ther.

It is but seems not real somehow. I’m trying to get my head round how it all happened, it’s hard and I know my mood is not good at minute. It’s just hard to process
