Complete nerve damage after critical illness

Patiently-waiting profile image

Anyone out there who’s family member has had been bedridden, fully conscious, ventilator dependent, feeding tube dependent, and unable to move due to nerve damage from critical illness? For me it’s my dad, 77yo, it’s been a year and a half. Would love any tips for helping with communication.
