Probably neuropathy. It is also worth getting sugar levels checked - all the meds in ICU can mess up our systems. I was type 2 diabetic for a bit thanks to steroid treatment.

Peripheral neuropathy can be caused by diabetes as well as sepsis. Basically the toxins of sepsis damage the nerves - hence the pain or pins & needles. I had no feeling ( apart from tingling) in my feet - slowly it came back. I don’t know if all nerve damage repairs for everyone but know that it repairs at 1mm a day.
