Eyes open: Good day my husband is been at icu for... - ICUsteps
Eyes open
what do the medical team say?
Yes to some degree. I woke up from a sepsis coma in ICU after dying twice. No idea how or why I was there. The medication makes you feel no pain so I was convinced I wasn’t even sick. Had no idea there was pipes going thru my back into my lungs, a trache in my throat and was surviving via ventilation machine. Take many photos to show later as my memory was wiped. I was told I would never leave ICU but today I am texting from my truck as I beat out all the test. People do recover. I woke up to Lauren Diagle music as someone in ICU was playing it next to me…
I had a similar experience after getting covid in 2021 . I had no symptoms of covid only a slight breathing faster issue . I was in an induced coma for 2 months with pneumonia, sepsis, blood clots multiple organ failure, on dialysis & suffering with seizures & im still here too! I’m so grateful to still being here but unfortunately i had no pictures & no visitors due to Covid but I still have so much things I still remember some that don’t make sense to me even now ! I slowly pulled through from my critical state & once I was put on a trakie I started to really recover . Learning to walk, talk, & trying to be me again is still a work in progress but I’m grateful for still being here ❤️🩹🎈
