Does anyone know what's the app for video call in icu uk? The nurse told me but I did not understand properly. I think she said bluevue or bluevoo?

Hey, we used Aetonix A Touch Away. We did however get an email invitation from the hospital to join on behalf of our dad.

Although now, we are able to WhatsApp call xx

Maybe different hospitals use different apps so might be worth calling ICU reception or the ICU nurses station :)

Why is this UK Hospital using Zoom. It is banned for use in the NHS.

I'm also in the North West. I live in Barrow-in-Furness and our Hospital (FGH) is part of the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust (MBHT/UHMB)

Due to security breaches, NHS bans staff from using Zoom over privacy concerns.

This directive is in line with the recently published guidance from the Information Commissioner’s office and NHSX, which is the latest body to warn against the use of Zoom.

The NHS, which has over 12,000 employees across the UK, has instead suggested staff members use Zoom alternatives such as Bluejeans and Microsoft Teams.

Further information can be found by looking at websites: NHS England/Improvements, NHS Digital, NHSx, National Cyber Security Centre, or doing Google searches for: "NHS bans use of Zoom", "NHSX Zoom" etc.
