Please can anyone help regarding visiting rights to the ICU?

Hi all, please help me. My aunties son is in ICU and his estranged wife has stopped her visiting him. Is there any legal way my auntie can overturn this and visit her son? It's making her so ill, and she's in her 80's and I'm worried this is going to turn out bad for her. Thank you xx

I do not know the legal rights of all those involved. If I was in such a position, I might be tempted to contact the ICU staff, or critical care outreach team, directly & ask them to mediate.

It is shocking when people appear to act so heartlessly but then again, I have no idea of the context.
