Coma dream experiences

I was wondering did you dream? My husband had vivid and bizarre dreams which started me collecting them to illustrate. My collection is already with agents, but if you did experienced dreams and are strong enough I would love for you to contribute.

If you want to see my work and meet others who have been in your same situation, please have a look at my Facebook page, look up 'Killing Marmalade and other coma dreams' on Facebook, or email me at missylils@hotmail.co.uk

My dad had an always returning dream of him being at the morgue, and workers there trying to prepare him for cremation. He always waved at them to let them know they were wrong! He wasn't dead yet.

Do you think he would allow me to put it in my book?

If so if he could just write it out from his point of view, adding his name, age, town or city and any other info he wants to include about himself, including what happened to him and why he was in the coma.

That would be great!!

Thank you

I had nightmares while in a drug induced coma and on a ventilator for 13 days due to H1N1 flu, pneumonia and ARDS. In each dream, my arms were restrained and no one could hear my cries for help. You are welcome to use my dream experiences. Let me know if you want more details.

Hi.. my experience was of being physically restrained as they tried to sedate/ intubate me.. I was aware of fighting a man dressed in a blue suit.. everything around was bright white apart from a big blue cross behind my attacker.. I knew if he wrestled me down I would be dead..of course he won the fight. When I came out of my medically induced coma 9 days later I at first thought I was dead and just watching everyone around me.. when I became aware I was alive I thought the two (unfortunately male) nurses meant me harm.. I knew I was on a ventilator and was terrified they would switch it off.. I was angry and afraid. Later I had hallucinations of children in colourful costumes entertaining the patients and could smell a bonfire and hear fireworks.. I thought I could see messages lit up in the sky and was convinced it was Chinese New Year. I had double vision and was seeing twins everywhere.. one pair were kissing and another dancing down the ward which seemed very unprofessional! After going home I had dreams about abduction and abuse.. also being in a confined space and unable to breath. I couldn't sleep because I feared not waking up again and I slept in the day then later at night with lights on and curtains open.. 6 years on I still don't close my curtains fully .. I had meningitis, encephalitis and septicaemia and surgery to remove necrotic bone behind my ear.

You can't explain all this to most people because they find it hard to listen to, it would make a good horror movie! ( I hate horror movies)

Did you ever publish? ☺
